Dave Mercer is running for the office of state representative for the 7th Middlesex district. This district includes Framingham precincts 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, and 18, as well as the town of Ashland. Our district needs more responsive and responsible representation in the legislature. This community has been home for Dave and his wife, Leila, for the past 33 years.
Dave will bring responsible representation to the district. For too long, your voice has not been heard. The district is not getting it's fair share of state revenue. Our towns need a representative who will be there when you need your views and issues heard.
It is time to break up the overwhelming one party domination which has resulted in problems with tax increases and deficit spending. It is time for some new leadership for our community and for a new direction for the state legislature. Dave is ready to be a part of that.
